Chapter Three: 
A Night of No Return April 8, 1989. The night was suffocating, the air heavy with an impending storm. Munir had convinced Sharmin to take a late-night drive, a gesture of reconciliation after their recent fights. Trusting him, she agreed. As they drove past the deserted stretch of Narayanganj, the tension inside the car thickened.
“Why are we here, Munir?” she asked, her voice laced with suspicion.
Munir did not answer. Instead, he pulled over near the dense undergrowth, turning off the headlights.
And then it happened. The struggle was brutal. A flash of silver in the darkness, the sickening sound of a blade slicing through flesh. Sharmin’s screams were muffled by the wilderness, the trees bearing silent witness to her final breaths. The woman who had dreamt of love and justice lay lifeless in the night’s embrace, her blood seeping into the cold earth.
Munir wiped his hands, his face devoid of emotion. This was the only way. He had made his choice long ago, and there was no turning back.

Chapter Four: 
The Web of Lies The next morning, Sharmin’s body was discovered by locals. The news exploded like wildfire, sending shockwaves through the country. Munir, playing the part of the grieving husband, fabricated a tale of abduction. But the authorities were not convinced.
The detectives unraveled the story, piece by piece. The inconsistencies, the missing alibi, the mistress who knew more than she let on—it all led back to Munir. His arrest was swift, his downfall even swifter. As the trial progressed, the courtroom buzzed with anticipation. Every revelation was more chilling than the last. The once-respected industrialist was now a cold-blooded murderer.
And then, the ultimate twist—the mistress, Khuku, was sentenced alongside him. The woman who had orchestrated every move from the shadows found herself shackled by the very love she had fought to keep.

Epilogue: 
Justice and Shadows On July 27, 1993, the final chapter was written. Munir Hussain, the man who had thought he could manipulate fate, was executed. His life ended just as mercilessly as he had taken Sharmin’s. Khuku, however, walked free after an appeal, vanishing into the void, her whereabouts a mystery.
But legends never fade. Even today, in the whispers of the wind along the Dhaka highway, some say you can hear the echoes of that fateful night—the screams of a woman betrayed, the silence of a man undone by his own darkness.
And justice, though served, still lingers in the shadows of history.
