My name is Brigette Panetta. In 2020 my life was turned upside down by a significant trauma and injustice. My partner's business was unfairly targeted just two days before becoming a mother for the first time. I have been broken down and forced to rebuild to protect myself and my family. I hope that by sharing my experience with you I can raise awareness and inspire others to persevere through turbulent times.

My body was in constant pain. Hives covered my skin. I was so inflamed I could barely function. I eliminated gluten, dairy, sugar, nuts, berries as advised. But the symptoms kept coming.

It wasn’t just the food. I was carrying emotional pain. Losing everything, the heartbreak of watching James be wrongly accused, the weight of it all… it was living in my body.
The anger, the grief, the stress, it was too much to hold. And my body was the one paying the price.

I started detoxing not just my body, but my home, my environment, and my thoughts. I cleared out heavy metals, toxic products, and the constant flood of fear and frustration I was holding onto.

I began to heal and I can now eat all foods. I feel strong. I feel safe in my skin again. I’ll be sharing more about what worked for me and if you’re in it right now, just know you’re not alone.

There were moments in motherhood when I truly believed something was wrong with me.

I couldn’t cope the way I thought I should. The exhaustion. The overwhelm. The tears behind closed doors. I thought, “Why can’t I handle this like everyone else?”

But the truth is I was doing my best.
And that was always enough.

Motherhood doesn’t come with a manual.
It comes with love, mess, growth and moments that stretch us beyond what we thought was possible.

Apologising to your child isn’t weakness, it’s a powerful way to rebuild trust and connection. When you own your mistakes, you teach them how to do the same.
