My name is Brigette Panetta. In 2020 my life was turned upside down by a significant trauma and injustice. My partner's business was unfairly targeted just two days before becoming a mother for the first time. I have been broken down and forced to rebuild to protect myself and my family. I hope that by sharing my experience with you I can raise awareness and inspire others to persevere through turbulent times.

A heartfelt thank you to Peter Carruthers and the Cairns Post for taking the time to hear my story and shine a light on the real human impact of this battle. For five years, an unjust pursuit has caused so much harm to innocent lives at the hands of those who should operate with the highest integrity. Now, as the evidence is being reviewed, the truth is becoming impossible to ignore.
