Danmark will raise retirement age to 70 (!!) Imagine: working in IT (now KI, everyone wants to talk KI) you have to follow every stupid trend (new programming languages, new database concepts, new cell phones trends etc). If - lets say older than 55, you are not interested in stupid concepts, but in real, longer lasting solutions. Imagine you are older than - lets say: 55 and you apply for a high tech Job and your "only" skills are: experience and long years good project management. What are your chances? Not to mention, if you are 68!!! What a concept. New ideas are welcome to re-think the retirement - process. And the solution could be (like in other questions): Act like an owner. Financially secure your time after work YOURSELF. Don't wait for someone saving YOUR money. NEVER depend on other people's money!! "Act like an owner"! How often did you hear this approach in school? It all has to start in early eduaction and BEFORE in the education (or selection) of teachers. 6-10 year old kids have to be educated by the BEST (also paid best!!). Instead most of the teachers themself directly come from school and have never ever seen a real life problem. Let's dicuss some new approaches. The old ones do not have any (good) future!!
