I have recently become so invested in the current discourse regarding Sabrina Carpenter's new album cover. It's so fascinating to see people's different perspectives with some arguing it's setting back social progress on women's rights and other's noting Carpenter is evidently being satirical. I believe there is a deeper lyrical meaning to it, noting the dichotomy between the album cover/ title "man's best friend" and her first single on the album "Manchild" where she airs her frustration towards "useless" men and "doesn't know how they've survived on the earth so long". Regardless, I think it will definitely be interesting to see what she comes up with in the new album.
