<h3 style="margin-left:0px;">M Core Fixed Income was a secured lending opportunity made available by M101 Nominees Pty Ltd (in liquidation) to qualified wholesale clients from November 2019 to August 2020.&nbsp;</h3>The notes were secured against three asset classes controlled by Mayfair 101:<ul><li>cash</li><li>real estate</li><li>other assets</li></ul>Approximately $62 million was raised in the notes between November 2019 and March 2020 before the Australian Securities and Investments Commission began to attack the Mayfair 101 group.&nbsp;The principal repayments were suspended on 11 March 2020, the same day the World Health Organisation declared COVID-19 a global pandemic, to preserve the group's liquidity position (which is an industry standard practice to protect investors).&nbsp;On 13 August 2020 ASIC issued winding up proceedings. &nbsp;The company is now in liquidation with Said Jahani and Philip Campbell-Wilson appointed.&nbsp;Mayfair 101 is presently evaluating what options are available to best protect the interests of M Core noteholders so they may receive full repayment of their principal plus interest.

Mayfair 101's lawyers circulate forms to M Core noteholders to obtain their written instructions to direct the security trustee to remove receivers after Mayfair 101 identified they were invalidly appointed. A majority of noteholders (&amp;gt;50%) by way of value is required for the noteholder directions to be enforceable.
