Public profile rollout

Verification is required before your profile can be activated publicly. Media.com is opening public profiles in stages during the initial rollout. You can continue setting up your profile and creating content privately, and we’ll let you know when public access is available for your account.

Why public profiles open in stages

Media.com is a network where every public profile has a verified person or organization behind it. Opening public access progressively lets the platform grow at a pace that keeps publishing, discovery and support working well for everyone.

What you can do now

Your account exists as soon as you register. While your profile is private you can keep building it, add your professional details, and create and save content privately.

Verification makes you eligible

Identity verification confirms who is behind a profile and makes it eligible for public activation. Verification on its own does not make a profile public. It is not an endorsement of you or what you publish, and your legal name does not need to be displayed publicly.

Timing

Public access is being expanded progressively, so the time between verification and activation can vary during the rollout.

When your profile goes live

We’ll notify you when public access is enabled for your account. Your profile will then be available at media.com/your-handle.
