I highly recommend watching this film if you haven't already seen it. It follows the story of Whitney Wolfe. She is the founder, executive chair, and CEO of Bumble, an online dating platform, launched in 2014. She is a co-founder of Tinder and was previously its Vice President of Marketing. It was not only a great film to see the beginning and evolution of the dating apps, it also showed just how important user verification is on these type of platforms. Whitney also faced a huge amount of online harrassment and bullying following her controversial departure from Tinder. Again, highlighting the need for users to be fully verified on social media so they can be held accountable for what they post. Give it a watch and let me know what you think!
