How to Report Violations

If Media.com determines that a user has violated this policy, we may take the following actions:<ul><li>Issue a warning to the user.</li><li>Temporarily suspend the user’s account.</li><li>Permanently block the user’s account.</li><li>Take proactive steps to prevent the distribution of the offending content.</li></ul>

Enforcement Actions

If Media.com takes action on flagged content, we will notify the user(s) involved and provide clear information about the decision and next steps.

Transparent Communication

Media.com is committed to protecting network users against adult sexual abuse and the sharing of non-consensual intimate imagery. We recognize the profound impact and violation of privacy and dignity this represents, and will take action where we feel necessary to protect the safety of our users.

The following conduct is prohibited on Media.com:<ul><li>sharing or posting intimate photos or videos taken or distributed without the subject's informed consent;</li><li>posting, uploading, sharing or otherwise distributing any form of sexual abuse content, including hidden camera content featuring nudity or sexual acts and non-consensually superimposed images;</li><li>posting, uploading, sharing or otherwise distributing content that is photographed, recorded or filmed in breach of any local or federal law;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>offering rewards, financial incentives or non-financial incentives in exchange for intimate images or videos; and,</li><li>any conduct that might constitute blackmail or a form of blackmail relating to content of a sexual nature.</li></ul>

Prohibited Content and Conduct

Media.com, at our sole discretion, may allow users to publish:<ul><li>&nbsp;consensually produced non-pornographic, adult content marked as sensitive; and/or,&nbsp;</li><li>&nbsp;content shared for educational, documentary, or denunciatory purposes that contains appropriate context and sensitivity measures.</li></ul>

Users can flag content on Media.com they believe to be in violation of this policy via our reporting tool.

Content Flagging

When Media.com, at our sole discretion, considers there to be a breach of this policy by user(s) we may:<ul><li>warn the user(s) who published the offending content;</li><li>temporarily suspend the account of the user(s) who published the offending content;&nbsp;</li><li>permanently block the account of the user(s) who published the offending content; and/or,</li><li>take proactive measures to prevent or reduce the likelihood of distribution or redistribution of the content.</li></ul>

Enforcement

Media.com provides users who have been flagged under this policy with a right to appeal account suspension or blocking decisions. Appeals may be allowed in circumstances where content was mistakenly removed or accounts wrongly suspended or blocked. Appeals will be allowed in exceptional circumstances only.

Appeals

When Media.com decides to take action&nbsp; of user-generated content,&nbsp; we inform the user(s) about the process and its outcome. We aim to notify users promptly and with accurate information to help guide future content publishing decisions.
