We are dedicated to creating a safe space for all users, especially minors. We strictly ban any content or activity that could harm or exploit young people. This includes inappropriate behavior, Inappropriate Content Involving Minors (ICIM), and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).

How We Approach Youth Safety Rules of Engagement

Who Can Use Media.com

Users 18 and Over: Users must be at least 18 years old with valid identification to create a profile and post content on Media.com. Your identity will be verified before your profile is activated and before you can engage with our community.

What's Not Allowed

Posting or soliciting content that involves abuse of minors, depicts suggestive or
sexual material featuring minors (or individuals who appear to be minors), or
promotes child exploitation is strictly prohibited. This includes any form of media,
such as photographs, drawings, audio, video or text.

Engaging in the following behavior is prohibited and will may result in a permanent
ban:

  • Inappropriate Contact with Minors: Grooming or engaging in sexual
    conversations with minors through any form of content.
  • Inappropriate Content Involving Minors (ICIM): Media.com strictly prohibits the
    publication of any material featuring individuals under the age of 18 that is
    presented in a sexualized manner.
  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Sharing or requesting content that
    involves child abuse, the sexual exploitation of minors, or any activity that
    promotes such acts is strictly forbidden. Any material related to child
    exploitation will be reported to law enforcement, as it constitutes a serious
    criminal offense.
  • Unauthorized Content: Before a non-parent shares a photo of a minor online,
    they should get the permission of the parent or legal guardian.
  • Exploitation or Objectification: Encouraging or promoting the sexual
    exploitation of minors in any way.
  • Third-Party Links: Sharing links to websites that host illegal or inappropriate
    content involving minors.
  • Impersonating Minors: Pretending to be a minor to engage in harmful or
    inappropriate behavior.
  • Coercion or Threats: Forcing minors to send intimate photos or personal
    information through threats or manipulation.
  • Sharing Victim Information: Revealing the identity of child sexual abuse
    victims, including their names, images, or personal details.

Reporting Violations

Anyone can report violations of this policy by using our flagging feature.

How We Enforce These Guidelines

Here’s how we identify violations:

  • User Reports: Users can flag inappropriate profiles by clicking the “Report”
    button on any post or profile page.
  • Government Reports: Receiving reports from government agencies that help
    us find and remove harmful content.
  • Moderator Review: Our internal team identifies and addresses issues
    proactively.
