Some Tesla owners have resorted to cheeky bumper stickers to distance themselves from their vehicle’s new stigma, and perhaps deter would-be vandals. They say things like “I bought this before we knew Elon was crazy,”
This is funny to me - I live right behind Lincoln Center on the Hudson River a block before the stretch of NYC where there were a number of Trump branded buildings (the Trump branding was stripped by the city of NYC during his first term). When I first moved to the city (20 years ago - well before he had gone into politics) and would get the - “what part of the city do you live in?” Question, I got used to responding - “behind Lincoln Center in that new neighborhood, on the Hudson River, but NOT in a Trump building - before you get to those buildings” lol.
